Katakyie has served as Head of Strategy for Family Ventures and Offices (FVO) since 2022 - a family office based in Accra, Ghana. In this role, Katakyie oversees value-creation efforts in FVO’s portfolio companies. Katakyie co-founded the Ghanaian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, set to formally launch in 2Q24. The chamber will be focused on initiatives that improve trade and business relations between Ghana and HKSAR. Before joining FVO, Katakyie worked at Goldman Sachs for 6 years in NY and HK on the Equity Management and Strategy team. He also served on the Analyst and Associate Council and was a steering committee member of the Black and Hispanic Network.

Katakyie is an African Leadership Initiative – Youth Leaders Fellow and is deeply passionate about the emergence of the African continent as a global powerhouse He has a BA in Economics and Psychology from Williams College, and is an All-American in Track and Field.
