Lauren has spent her career committed to sustainable, private-sector-driven development in Africa. She has spent the past 9 years at Pan African Capital Group – a family-backed permanent capital equity vehicle based in Washington DC and active across sub-Saharan Africa. In this role, she manages a $55 million portfolio of early and growth equity investments, advises multinationals on market entry, regulatory environments, and deal structuring, and manages teams at all PACG portfolio companies to build capacity, add value, and identify growth opportunities. Before PACG, Lauren served in the US Peace Corps in Northern Ghana.

Lauren has an Executive MBA from INSEAD, an MSc in Global Human Development from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a BA in Visual Arts from Colby College.
